Most volcanoes on Earth are created on tectonic plate's boundary. But on Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is in the middle of the plate. That is powered by super heated rock called Mantle Plume.
A mantle plume is a hypothetical thermal diaper of hot rock that nucleates at the core-mantle boundary and rises through the Earth's mantle. There are 30 plumes on earth.
Mantle Plume is so hot and fast it punches through the hard crust and creates volcano like Kilauea.
