Constellation

Constellation

Later our ancestors notice bigger cycle, seasons. They notice different patterns of stars in the sky and corresponding changes in the environment. They saw that particular pattern of stars are responsible for particular geographical change like winter, summer etc. They noticed various constellations and marked them to decide which season to come next.

Suppose when some constellation is seen in the sky it means winter is near and for some other constellation it means summer is coming. So our ancestors found a way to keep track of time and to predict future environment by looking at the sky. Their farming skills developed greatly by gaining the knowledge of forecasting.
