Fujita scale is a scale to measure tornado intensity. The scale is based on the damage inflicted by the tornado on structures.

Largest tornado outbreak recorded is known as 2011 super outbreak. It occurred on April 2011. This outbreak damaged southern, northern and Midwestern United States. About 350 tornadoes were recorded in United States. Four of the tornadoes were rated EF5 on Enchanted Fujita scale. That is the highest catastrophic scale possible. About 350 people were killed in that disaster.
