Richter scale
The way to measure Quake is Richter scale. Richter magnitude scale refers to assign a single number to quantify the energy contained in an Quake.
In Richter scale each quake number represents that it is tenfold stronger than previous quake number. Number 9 is million times stronger than number 3 quake. Quake 7 and 8 are powerful enough to tear down buildings.
